This is the first post detailing the pieces I include in my capsule wardrobe.
As I try to formulate a more organized capsule wardrobe, I’m also attempting to make my wardrobe more “grown up”. I realized I needed a pair of better boots because I can’t wear Uggs everywhere. In my search, I looked for black suede/velvet boots with block heels but came across the Coach Montana Boots instead:

I’m a big fan of Coach. Their recent collections have been amazing and once I saw their collaboration with Keith Haring, I was sold. I came across these boots on 6pm.com and was quite intrigued.
I was honestly drawn in by the price; they were 70% off, leather lined, and have a leather upper. My mom always taught me the importance of purchasing shoes that are made of quality materials. For the price and the quality, I couldn’t pass these up.
They’re not particularly my style but I’m starting to take more risks. To many of you, these are probably the most boring pair of booties you’ve ever seen, but I wear a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers pretty much every day. The triangular toe was kind of too old western-ish, and the fact that I have extremely skinny legs and I’m a women’s 10.5 shoe (sized up to an 11 for these because I want to wear thick socks with them) meant that I’d be looking like Lacienaga when she hopped out of the pool.
Another reason I bought these was because I’ve been wanting to kill an all-black look and all I need now is a black beret. Super excited to incorporate these into my winter wardrobe.
I’m assuming these boots are discontinued, which is why they were so heavily discounted and sold out at many retailers. As of the date of publication, they are still available at these websites:
